Our Story

Alexander Jewellery first opened in Oldham, Greater Manchester in 1980. Now with over 40 years of experience in jewellery retail and manufacturing, we are proud industry leaders.

As a dedicated team, we are experts in gemology, diamond grading, settings, manufacturing processes and multiple areas of specialist product knowledge.

Our owner, Darren, bought Alexander from the original owners in 1986. Prior to this, he worked as an apprentice at a jewellery shop in Cheetham Hill, which is where his love for jewellery started. 

Between 1986 and Summer 2018 our location on Huddersfield Road became a one-stop-shop for all jewellery needs. Stocking industry leading brands and providing bespoke services, we built up a consistent, loyal customer base. 

Our new shop on Rochdale Road in Oldham is now open.
