Shipping policy

Shipping

Our shipping days are Monday - Thursday each week. All orders placed on Friday - Sunday will be shipped on Monday the following week.

All items are sent via Royal Mail special delivery, to arrive the following business day before 1PM (excluding Saturday and Sunday). 

All bespoke orders expect to be delivered within six business weeks. If the item is required earlier, please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate.

You will be advised of your parcel tracking number on the day of postage via email. All parcels can then be tracked with your unique tracking number on https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item. 

If you are not home when the parcel arrives, the postal worker will drop an advice card through the letterbox, allowing you to collect the parcel from your local post office at your earliest convenience. 

Delays

The anticipated delivery date will be stated in your confirmation email.

Although delays are very rare, the provided delivery dates are anticipated and subject to the usual caveats.

Alexander Jewellery shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations, if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Including, but not limited to: postal, customs and shipping delays, acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, flood, snow, material failure, breakdown of plant or machinery, shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and given circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Alexander Jewellery shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. If the delay persists for such time as we the retailer considers unreasonable, we may, without liability on our part, terminate the contract and refund any monies paid.

We will ensure you are kept informed at every stage along the way and contacted directly if there is any risk that the stated delivery date could be compromised.
